Ask the assistants the questions your customers actually ask, log the answers, and check every fact. When something is wrong, trace it back to the page or listing that taught it, fix that source, and recheck in 30 days. The whole routine takes about an hour a month.
1. Write 10 questions your customers actually ask
Use real ones: what you charge, whether you serve their town, your hours, parking, booking. If customers ask it on the phone, it belongs on the list.
2. Ask each one in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Mode
Ask exactly as a customer would, without your business name where possible. You want to know whether you get named when the question is open.
3. Log the answers
Copy each answer into the tracker below while it is fresh. Note whether you were named, and who was named instead.
4. Check every fact
Hours, prices, address, services, phone number. Mark each one correct or wrong. A flattering answer with wrong hours is still a wrong answer.
5. Trace wrong facts back to the source that taught them
Assistants repeat what they read. A wrong price usually traces to an old menu photo, a stale directory listing or an outdated profile. Find the source before fixing anything.
6. Fix those sources, then recheck in 30 days
Update the page or listing that taught the wrong fact, then give the assistants a month to pick it up. Recheck the same 10 questions and compare.

The Halo Report does this every week instead of every month: we ask, log, fact-check and fix at the source, and you get the report. It is part of Halo AEO+, the $99 monthly add-on for Rise or Shine.
